About The Software:

This is a complete locksmith inventory system. This software will allow you to keep track of your entire shop inventory, from locks to key blanks and any other items you may have in your shop. You can add categories and individual items complete with stock numbers and prices. The software also works with a barcode scanner but is not required. The software will allow you to add the wholesaler and your price, and display the difference and the location of the item whether it is a key blank or a lock. You can add data, or search either via barcode reader or via manual input, which ever works best for you.

Searching for a particular item is a snap. Just enter the number, or scan with a barcode reader and it will come right up with the hook number / location, price retail and wholesale, and current stock quantity.

Ever spent a few minutes looking for a key blank on your key board? It could be right in front of you, and you’ll pass it up. With this software, you just enter the number or scan via BCR and it will tell you right where it is, it's that quick.

As you receive stock in your shop, you would just input quantity and price and location and this software will keep track of your entire inventory and your sales. Complete with reports for sales, stock, quantity, price and much more.

The software comes with the key blank database; 5,879 key blanks have already been added to the software. You will have to add all of the locks and whatever else you would like to keep inventory on. The software contains 98 percent of all key blanks made, International, Automotive, and Cylinder key blanks.

Setup:

Setup takes about 5 minutes. All of the key blanks are already in the system under ILCO numbers. But it doesn’t matter what number it is, the software can do a cross search for you in one second and provide the ILCO number as well as ever manufacture that makes the same key blank. The software does not work as a P.O.S. (Point Of Sale) as in a cash register. The software is designed to handle your inventory, and keep track of the stock purchased, and stock sold as well as keep track of the location and area where the stock is stored. Although the software will keep track of all of this, it will not calculate taxes. Therefore using the software as a P.O.S. will not work unless you include taxes in your sales, or your state is exempt from sales tax.

Generating reports is a snap, and done in a single click of anything you would like to know, such as stock in and out, total daily sales, along with margins between wholesaler and retail so you can see your untaxed profits instantly. Most people worry about software being user friendly. The software is easy to set up and run, it is so easy a cave man can do it.
